Head out to the Great Barrier Reef
Rain or shine, the Great Barrier Reef makes for an amazing day trip! You’ll be underwater anyway, so pack your swimmers and your raincoat and enjoy the reef in the rain. Boats operating tours to the Reef will still go out, despite the wet, unless it's a severe weather event. An added bonus is these day trips are usually quieter due to many people wanting to visit the reef on a sunny day.
