Silversonic is a luxurious, ultramodern 29m catamaran designed with speed and comfort in mind! The state-of-the-art ride control system helps provide a super smooth ride to the beautiful Agincourt Reef of the Great Barrier Reef. With speeds of up to 32 knots, you'll have more time to experience the reef, with plenty of time to snorkel and dive. With over five hours at three different reef spots, you will be able to immerse yourself into the underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef. Each site is chosen on your day of travel to best showcase the visual and ecological diversity of the Great Barrier Reef to ensure you can have the diving or snorkelling experience of a lifetime. Introductory and certified divers are both welcome, with intro divers joining on for two dives and certified divers enjoying up to three. We ask that certified divers bring their dive cards with them. Snorkellers can snorkel as much as they want at the three chosen sites of the day and take advantage of exploring the underwater gardens of the Agincourt Ribbon Reefs.

Snorkellers are always welcome on board Silversonic to explore the Great Barrier Reef for themselves! With shallow reefs, clear waters, warm conditions and amazing marine life, this is a must do for any nature enthusiast, avid snorkeller or curious traveller. You can snorkel with a buddy or choose to join the guided snorkel tour, where you'll be guided around the reef with a guide showing you all the amazing corals and animals that lie below.
Introductory dives, also known as resort dives, require no previous experience and are the perfect way to take your first shot at the amazing experience that is scuba diving. Under the close experience of your instructor, you'll dive up to 12 metres down to see the reef from a whole new perspective. Your intro dive includes all instruction, briefings and fundamentals of diving, as well as an instructional video and quiz. All your equipment, including prescription marks, is included, as well as your own photographer! Alongside your instructor and other intro divers, you'll get to explore the amazing underwater world of the ribbon reefs for a truly amazing and memorable experience. Minimum age is 12 years.
A must-do on any avid divers bucket list is to snorkel in the amazing Great Barrier Reef to see its marine life up close. Take the opportunity to dive up to three times to explore the reef at length to see some of its thousands of species for yourself. The warm waters, wild colours and unique species make it any diver's paradise. Our seasoned crew will accompany all dives at no extra charge and show you around the reefs firsthand, ensuring everyone's fun and safety! We ask that certified divers bring their dive cad with the. Please note, divers much be at least 12 years of age.

SilverSonic has 29 different sites it visits all dependent on the conditions of the day and carefully chosen by the captain and crew. $6.50 pp payable on check-in include $3.50 Government Environmental Management Charge and Admin Charges. This charge is payable direct by passengers to Silverswift on the day of travel.
With fluctuations in world oil prices, it may be necessary to apply a fuel surcharge to your ticket price. In such cases any charge will be collected on departure.
Transfers from Cairns are at an extra cost.
Terms and Conditions
All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Tour Operator. It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1.5% surcharge for VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX card purchases.
All client cancellations forfeit 25% of total ticket price and all client cancellations made less than 21 days prior to departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full price of the tour or package. If the tour operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to the departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.
