Daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm
What are the photo session times?
Photo session times include: 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm and 4:30pm.
Do I have to hold the koala to get a photo with it?
No you don't have to. You have the option to either hold the koala or stand next to one as it rests on a tree branch.
Is the koala photo experience suitable for children?
Yes, children are welcome to hold the koala if they can safely hold throughout the photo sesison. This will be decided at the discretion of the trained Koala Keepers.
Can I turn up without a booking and get my photo taken with a koala?
Photo sesisons and times are limited and therefore, it is highly recommended to book your experience in advance in order to avoid disappointment.
Is the Cairns Koalas & Creatures experience wheel-chair accessible?
Yes, it is. The Pier Shopping Centre has ramp access at several entrance points around the building.
