Check In
The adventure begins at least 15 minutes before your scheduled flight time. This gives you time to fill out the paperwork and listen to the safety briefing. You'll have to get your own transport to meet the team at the end of Wangetti Beach Road. The location is conveniently situated about 40 minutes from Cairns, 30 minutes from Port Douglas, and 15 minutes from Palm Cove.

Important Information
- Flights are subject to local weather conditions.
- Minimum age is 11 years.
- Weight range for paragliding is between 30-120kg.
- Basic fitness and good general health are required for safety.
- Passengers are required to walk up to 300m along the beach (3-5mins) to get to the launch area. Then on take-off, passengers are required to walk briskly for approximately 4 - 5 steps.
- If you are unsure whether you meet the requirements, contact us for an individual assessment.
- Personal cameras and phones are not permitted during the flight.
- Not accessible for wheelchair users.
- Passengers under 18 require a parent or guardian to sign the waiver.
- Passengers are not permitted to fly under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

- Comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day. Perhaps a long sleeved top or light jacket as it may be cooler at higher altitudes.

No shows or client cancellations made within 48 hours of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.

When are flights available?
Flights are available in June and September of 2024. You can book flights daily and they depart between 12pm and 5pm.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes, the minimum age is 11 years (no maximum age)!
Are videos included?
No, it's $295 for just the paragliding flight or $345 for the flight plus videos. Please select the video option at checkout if you want video footage of your flight!
How do we get the videos?
You will receive the video immediately after your flight via transfer to your phone.
Can we film the flight on our own phones?
No, personal phones and cameras are not permitted during the flight.
Where is the paragliding located?
You will paraglide at Wangetti Beach, a stunning part of Tropical North Queensland located a 30 minute drive from Port Douglas and a 40 minute drive from Cairns. Car parking is available on site!
Is any transport provided?
No, guests will have to arrange their own transport to Wangetti Beach. You can choose between rental cars, Ubers, private taxis and shuttle buses. The beach is just 2 minutes away from Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, so you may be able to combine your transport to both places.
What should we wear for the flight?
Wear comfortable clothes that suit the weather conditions. You may want warmer layers especially as you'll be up in the air. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also recommended!
What if my flight is cancelled due to weather?
Because paragliding is subject to weather conditions, some flights may be cancelled in inclement weather. If this happens, we will reschedule your flight for free.
