Meet your guide at your designated pick-up point

Your grand day out around Cairns begins at your designated pick-up point, where your tour guide will greet you and introduce you to the rest of your tour group. Take a seat on board the air-conditioned shuttle bus and enjoy the views!

If you would like to be collected from your Cairns accommodation, please organise this directly with your tour operator. Otherwise, you can meet your guide at the tour's starting point: Bus Bay #7, Reef Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence St, Cairns Marina

Visit Cairns Botanic Gardens

The first stop of the day is Cairns Botanic Gardens. Boasting beautifully landscaped gardens and walking trails, a lush range of diverse plants and birdlife, and peaceful lakes, Cairns Botanic Gardens have endless outdoors spaces to explore.

Take a dip at the Crystal Cascades

Next, your tour bus will head to the beautiful Crystal Cascades - a series of magnificent, secluded waterfalls nestled in a rainforest just outside of the city. Feeling warm in the tropics? Be sure to pack your swimmers so you can enjoy a refreshing dip in this freshwater escape.

Northern Beaches drive by

As you travel from one destination to the next, be sure to keep your eyes on the dreamy views out the window! Along the way, your tour bus will cruise past the beautiful Northern Beaches - including the tourist-favourite Palm Cove!

Stop at Gordonvale Sugar Mill for lunch

At the halfway mark of your Cairns Explorer Tour, you and your tour group will take a well-earned lunch break at Gordonvale Sugar Mill. While you tuck in to your packed lunch, or any food you purchase on site, learn about how this sugar mill accidentally became what's known as the 'ground zero' for Australia's cane toad infestation!

Behana Gorge Waterfall

It's time for another swim - or a very scenic rest stop - at Behana Gorge. Suitable for the whole family, this spot is home to various spectacular waterfalls, swimming hols and walking trails. Kick your feet up and relax or take a dip in the beautiful clear waters.

Walsh’s Pyramid

The final stop of the day will be Walsh's Pyramid. This impressive natural wonder is a popular spot among hike enthusiasts, boasting an astounding view from the top. Don't worry, though. There is no hiking required on this day out. Instead, you and your crew will join the visitors who prefer to drive by Walsh's pyramid and snap some epic photos of the landmark.

Finish: Cairns Accommodation

Five hours later, it's time to head back to your Cairns accommodation. Be treated to an early finish and get back to the city before the sun begins to set. This leaves guests with plenty of time to enjoy their evenings as they please.
