At 7:15am, check in at the Passions of Paradise desk at Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns. Here you'll get to meet your Master Reef Guide for the day! Can my dietary requirements be catered for?
Yes, all meals are freshly prepared by the onboard chef. If you have any dietary requests, please let us know upon booking and the chef can cater to your needs.
Do I have to be a good swimmer?
Yes, due to the technical nature of the research activities in the water, this tour is only suitable for experienced and confident snorkellers.
Is there an age restriction?
Children ages 4-14 are welcome to book this experience but they must have an accompanying adult on the tour as well.
Are hotel transfers included?
Hotel transfers are not included. But that can be organised for an additional cost! It's $20pp for Cairns transfers and $30pp for northern beaches transfers. Contact Passions of Paradise upon booking to request transfers.
Is snorkel gear included?
Yes, all snorkel gear is included as well as all research materials. You'll get a mask, snorkel, and fins, plus wetsuits in winter or stinger suits in summer. Prescription masks are also available upon request.
