There is no better way to begin a day in Tropical North Queensland than having breakfast with koalas at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures! Between 8:30 am and 9:30 am every day, you can get access to this incredible wildlife park and have a hot breakfast and Lilies Restaurant. Soak in the peaceful serenity and the views of the lagoon.
Between 9 am and 9:30 am, a Wildlife Keeper will bring a koala onto the deck so you can admire and pat the fuzzy marsupial while asking questions and learning about these amazing creatures. After breakfast, you can explore the rest of the park. Go on a boat cruise through the lagoon, go on self-guided walks, or attend one of the scheduled wildlife presentations. It's sure to be an unforgettable day, especially for animal lovers!

Breakfast is served at Lilies Restaurant between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. The cozy restaurant overlooks Hartley's Lagoon with stunning views of the surrounding rainforest.
Between 9 am and 9:30 am, a Wildlife Keeper from the park will come to the deck with a friendly koala! Take this opportunity to pat the koala and ask questions. Note that koala-holding photos are not available during breakfast, but you can organise them for later in the day at an extra cost.
Daily Wildlife Adventures & Experiences
After breakfast, you can explore the park and take part in some of the other activities offered. Hartley's Crocodile Adventures has daily wildlife presentations that are included in your ticket price. Watch mighty crocodiles in action or observe a unique cassowary feeding!

Boat Cruise
Also included in your ticket is a boat cruise on Hartley's Lagoon. Cruise over the gentle waters and see saltwater crocodiles in their natural habitat. Make sure you bring a camera to photograph these impressive beasts! You may also get to see them lunging and feeding.
You can also roam the park and do some of the self-guided walks. But definitely make the most of your day at Hartley's and try to engage in some cool activities after breakfast!

Important Information
- Breakfast with Koalas must be booked by 4pm the previous day.
- Dietary requirements must be advised in advance
- The tickets are strictly non-transferable and proof of ID on re-entry is essential. Boat cruise passes for return visits are at the discretion of management, based on seat availability.
- Return coach transfers are available from major hotels in the Cairns city area, most hotels and caravan parks in Palm Cove, Trinity Beach pickups are from the Bus Stop Corner or Moore and Trinity Beach road. Pickup times will be advised upon booking.
A minimum of 2 paying persons is required for all bookings with transfers.
[Please note that an Infant does not count as a paying person] - Children (4 to 15 years) must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is required to actively supervise the children in their care.
- No breakfast meal is provided for infants ages 0-3, if a meal is required please let us know and you may have to pay extra
- The owners reserve the right to vary the opening hours, amend or cancel wildlife presentations, animal encounters and boat cruises, alter visitor capacity and restrict the availability of retail products, including food and beverage without prior notice in response to government directives in relation to COVID-19, severe water conditions, safety reasons or other operational issues.
- Park closures Cairns Iron Man Event 12th June 2022, Grand Fondo 11th September 2022 (am only) and Christmas Day 25th December 2022. Anzac Day may operate under different opening times, please check with our reservations team.
Park Terms & Conditions
The owners of this private facility reserve the right to refuse entry to any persons at their absolute discretion, without reason. The Conditions of Entry can change without notice.
YOU ACCEPT FULL RISK in entering these premises you do so voluntarily and entirely at your own risk including any risk to minors or anybody under your control. You acknowledge that some animals in the premises are by their nature dangerous and capable of causing harm and even death to humans. Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures accepts no responsibility whatsoever for death, personal injury or loss of any kind howsoever caused to entrants to these premises. Notwithstanding the generality of this exclusion, you must observe the following rules:
- Children must be controlled and actively supervised at all times by a responsible adult, unaccompanied children will not be allowed in and must be with a paying adult.
- Do not climb fences or feed animals except under the supervision of staff.
- Do not throw objects at, poke or harass the animals.
- Smoking is prohibited on boardwalks, outdoor eating or drinking areas and inside buildings. Please refer to the park map for Designated Outdoor Smoking Areas.
Keep to designated pathways. - Sensible walking shoes are strongly recommended.
- We reserve the right to remove any person from these premises (premises includes the boats) who, in our opinion, is in breach of the above rules or is otherwise unacceptable to the proper operation of the premises.
- Commercial photography and filming are not permitted on these premises without our prior written consent.
Your Responsibilities:
Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip.
You must reconfirm all booked tours prior to travel as specified on your voucher. If applicable, notes such as dietary requirements, pick-up locations and additional fees should also be confirmed at this time. Reconfirmations cannot be actioned through Fraser Tours / Mr Travel, and must be done so directly through the Service Operator as specified on each ticket.
It is your responsibility to notify us of ticket discrepancies. Please read through the details on your voucher thoroughly to ensure all details such as passenger names, ages and dates of travel on vouchers are correct.
It is the responsibility of all passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and vessel check-in agent before boarding of any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.
You need to allow adequate time to check-in prior to the specified departure time.
Prices/Extra Costs:
All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. Surcharges over peak holiday seasons may apply.
The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices and extra costs. Extra costs may include EMC fees, Stingersuit/Wetsuit Hire, Luggage Storage, Insurance, Linen Hire, National Park Fees, Fuel Levies, Dietary Fees, etc. Bonds may also apply.
We will also endeavour to communicate these extra costs with you at the time of booking, and on your ticket. However, it is your responsibility to confirm which (if any) additional costs apply with each Service Operator upon reconfirming your trip.
Travel Risk/Insurance:
It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Tour Operator. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances.
Merchant Fees:
Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD card purchases.

All ticket/voucher reissues attract a $20 administration fee.
Open Date Vouchers / Gift Certificate:
Shipping Costs are in addition to the ticket price and will be added at check-out. Shipping costs are non-refundable and do not makeup part of the ticket value.
E-Vouchers incur no shipping fees.
You have 5 years to use the value of the voucher. Seasonal Price Rises will apply if travelling out the current seasons pricing. Vouchers can be exchanged for free up to the full value of the voucher excluding credit card fees and charges.
Cancellations
Client Cancellations:
All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. No shows or client cancellations made within 14 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
Transfers between tours can be made at the suppliers discretion, however, it should be noted that supplier fees may apply. Tour transfers also incur a $20 administration fee.
It is compulsory that all cancellation requests are in writing and sent via email to admin@mr-travel.com. Cancellations attempted via online chat or phone will not be actioned.
Supplier Cancellations:
The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices, alter itineraries, apply a fuel surcharge, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport and vary itineraries and services if necessary.
All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Service Operator. If the Service Operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.
In the unlikely event of your trip being cancelled or stood down, all guest communication is required to go through our Online Store via telephone or email. While there is a Sailing Whitsundays retail outlet located Airlie Beach, please be aware that they operate as a separate entity and are unable to access reservations made by the Mr Travel online department.
Refunds:
All refunds are in Australian Dollars and must be made to the card of payment. Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations or fees, or any other merchant/bank fees associated with domestic and/or international transactions.
Where a full refund is applicable, there is the option to transfer the whole cost of the tour to another tour or “Credit” to avoid the administration fee. A transfer fee of $20 will apply.
You will be emailed confirmation once the refund has been processed. Once the refund has been processed, it may still take time for the banks to clear the amount. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to clear into Australian accounts and up to 21 business days for international accounts.
Accountability/Misconduct:
All Service Operators have the right to provide client feedback and to cancel bookings based off of feedback from other Service Operators.

Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel will treat this as any normal client cancellation and therefore the cancellation fees stated in the Client Cancellation Policy will apply.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a vegetarian option for breakfast?
Yes, vegetarian and other dietary requirements can be catered for. But you must let us know in advance, at least by 4pm the day prior. Please advise upon booking if you have dietary requirements!
Can I hold a koala?
During breakfast, you can only pat and observe the koalas. But you can organise a koala holding with photos for after breakfast. This costs extra and you can book it at the park on the day.
What else is included in the ticket besides breakfast?
Your ticket include breakfast with koalas, admission to the park, a boat cruise on the lagoon, self-guided walks, and access to the scheduled wildlife presentations and talks.
Can I bring my children?
Yes! This is a family-friendly activity. Infants 0-3 years are free, but they do not receive a hot breakfast. If you do want to purchase food for your infant, you can do so on the day.
Children ages 4-15 years get the discounted child rate, but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
