- No boat license is required, but you must be 18+ to drive. Please ensure the designated driver is over 18. They must bring photo ID for check-in.
- The boats must remain within the designated area of operation in the Trinity Inlet (you will be shown on a map, issued at check-in).
- If you book a skipper, please note that the skipper will count as 1 seat in your vessel.
- Children aged 8 years and under must wear a life jacket, which is supplied.

Cancellations
No shows or client cancellations made within 48 hours of departure forfeit 50% of the total ticket price. No shows or client cancellations made within 24 hours of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.

Where does the boat depart?
Please make your way to the Cairns Boat Hire Pontoon located at Cairns Marlin Marina - Berth A1, 1 Spence Street, Cairns City. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to booking time.
What are the requirements to drive the boat?
No boat license is required, but you must be 18+ to drive. Please ensure the designated driver is over 18. They must bring photo ID for check-in.
Can we book a skipper?
Yes! If you don't want to drive, you can hire a skipper for $50 per hour. If you book a skipper, please note that the skipper will count as 1 seat in your vessel.
Are children allowed on board?
Yes, children aged 8 years and under must wear a life jacket, which is supplied.
When can we charter the boat?
You can hire the boat for a half day (8:30am - 12:30pm or 12:30pm - 4:30pm) or a full day (8:30am - 4:30pm).
Is food available?
You can add on a standard or deluxe BBQ pack to your boat hire.
What is included in the fishing gear?
Fishing gear includes fishing Rods (1x pp), bait (1 per 4 pax), ice (1 per 4 pax) & esky.
