- Tours require a minimum number of participants to depart. Should Barefoot Tours need to cancel or reschedule due to weather or not meeting the minimum, you'll be informed by 6pm the day before.

What happens if it rains? Will the tour be cancelled?
Unless there has been a severe change in road conditions or a natural disaster event, tours will still operate rain or shine. Welcome to the rainforest! Bring along a rain jacket and your sense of adventure! Rain is part of the Cairns experience (especially during wet season) and your tour guide will do their best to make it an enjoyable day.
What is the age limit for this tour?
Adventurers aged 8 years and older are welcome to join all Barefoot Tours. Anyone under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. There is no maximum age limit, but it is recommended to be reasonably fit and okay on your feet for this adventure.
Can I travel on this tour if I am pregnant?
If you are 37 weeks or more pregnant, this tour is not recommended.
Do I need to be fit and know how to swim to join this tour?
Barefoot Tours cater to everyone’s pace, size, and swimming ability. If you aren't a confident swimmer, please let us know at the time of booking so your guide can acommodate on the day of travel.
Do you cater to special dietary or medical requirements?
Please inform us of any diet requirements, allergies, surgeries, impairments, or disabilities at the time of enquiry to confirm if your needs can be catered to.
