Important Information
- Minimum age 10 years. Children under 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
- After booking your Reef Encounter 3 Day Open Water Dive Course you will receive an email from Reef Encounter asking you to complete an online training lesson. Although it is not compulsory, it is recommended.
- It is law in Queensland that all scuba diving students get a medical check-up. Upon booking your course, you will be provided with information on how to get your medical check. Please click here for more diving information and to read the medical questionnaire.
What To Bring
Please bring an overnight bag with:
- Comfortable clothing and swimwear
- Warm clothes for the evening
- Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, marine safe sunscreen)
- Beach towel (shower towel provided)
- Toiletries
- Dive medical if required (ask us if you are not sure)
- Sun hat
- Seasickness medication (if required)
- Passport or Australian driver's licence

Cancellations
20% cancellation fee for any cancellations made outside of 7 days prior to departure.
100% cancellation fee for cancellations made within 7 days of the departure date.
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to re-schedule or alter a reservation.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.
