This Private Wildnight Nocturnal Tour at the Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas provides an exciting 2 hour guided experience after hours. Led by a knowledgeable wildlife keeper, you'll get the chance to encounter some elusive creatures that only come out at night. Hand-feed kangaroos and witness the fascinating behaviours of nocturnal animals like gliders, lizards, snakes, owls and more!

- This tour requires a minimum of 2 persons to operate.
- Due to the nighttime/torchlight guided nature of this walk, sturdy closed in footwear is required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there wheelchair access?
Wildlife Habitat and all its facilities are wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the Stork Tower, Licuala Tower including Birdseye Bridge, Predator Plank and the Swim With The Salties experience.
Are transfers included?
Transfers are not included as this is a self-drive experience. Strict start times do apply, and the Wildlife Habitat are unable to extend the overall experience for late arrivals.
Are special dietary requirements catered for?
Any dietary requirements and allergies must be advised at the time of booking, as meal component cannot be adjusted after 2pm on day of tour.
What clothing is suitable to wear?
Due to the nighttime/torchlight guided nature of this walk, sturdy closed in footwear is required.
When can I have a photo taken with the wildlife?
Feature Creatures and Koala photo times are 9:15am, 11:00am and 1:00pm. Due to animal welfare please be aware there may be height restrictions in place for holding koalas. Photos are taken in the park at The Hut.
