Visit the rainforest, tablelands and historic Kuranda Village all in one day! Take the thrilling Skyrail above the tree tops one way, while enjoying the scenic Kuranda Train on the way back! This unique day tour is a great way to experience two new ways of travelling through the lush forests of Far North Queensland as you make your way into the beautiful Atherton Tablelands. Spend some quality time in the quaint village of Kuranda where you can shop around and enjoy the sights or enjoy other fun attractions such as the Koala Park or Butterfly Sanctuary.

Start your day early with a pickup at 10:30am from your accommodation in Port Douglas and head towards and the Skyrail. You'll get to enjoy the view along the highway as you make way along the coast line, seeing views of both the ocean and the rainforest. Once you arrive, you will join the ride of your life and skim over the tree tops with amazing views of the surrounding rainforest. You'll make you way past waterfalls and through lush trees, immersing yourself into the greenery! Enjoy the ride as you head towards the historic rainforest village of Kuranda, where you will get 2.5 - 3 hours to explore, checking out the shops and stalls and fun sights on offer! When you've had enough time in the village, hop on the Kuranda Scenic train that will take you to Cairns, making its way through hand carved tunnels and walls of trees of the rainforest. Catch the bus back to Port Douglas and back to your accommodation.
10:15am - Depart Port Douglas. Arriving back around 6.45pm
11:45am - Board the Skyrail Gondola.
1:00pm - Arrive in Kuranda for 2½ hours visit.
3:30pm - Scenic Train departs Kuranda Station
5:30pm- Disembark at Cairns Train Station
6:45pm - Arrive back in Port Douglas

We recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of booking. Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1.5% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD purchases.
Open Date Vouchers / Gift Certificate:
Shipping Costs are in addition to the ticket price and will be added at check-out. Shipping costs are non-refundable and do not makeup part of the ticket value.
E-Vouchers incur no shipping fees.
You have 5 years to use the value of the voucher. Seasonal Price Rises will apply if travelling out the current seasons pricing. Vouchers can be exchanged for free up to the full value of the voucher excluding credit card fees and charges.
Cancellations
All client cancellations forfeit 25% of total ticket price and all client cancellations made less than 21 days prior to departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full price of the tour or package. If the tour operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to the departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season. Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip.
