Overview
Divers Den 4 Day Open Water Course offers aspiring divers the chance to earn their open water certification in four short days in Cairns and out on the beautiful Great Barrier Reef. This immersive course will allow you to do all your learning, dives and instruction without the need to do a liveaboard and spend overnight at sea. Enjoy 2 pool training days in the comfort of a heated dive-purpose swimming pool and 2 days under expert instruction learning open water techniques on board state-of-the-art vessel AquaQuest or ReefQuest.

Day 1 & 2
- 9 am pickup from your accommodation in Cairns
- Theory and pool sessions at the dive centre
- Return to accommodation around 5:30 pm
Day 3 & 4
- Check into the boat at 8 am
- Travel to the reef and complete two dives
- Lunch (included)
- Optional snorkelling activities
- Return to Cairns at around 4:45 pm

Important Information
Students must be at least 12 years of age, and divers under 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What To Bring
- Swim suit
- Towel
- Money for lunch days 1 and 2
- Money for soft drinks, snacks etc. on days 3 and 4
What's Included
- PADI Open Water manuals and tables
- All equipment - BCD, regulator, dive computer, mask, snorkel, full foot fins, 5mm short arm/leg wetsuit
- City pick up/ drop off daily
- Lunch on days 3 and 4 while on the boat
What's Extra
Cancellations
No shows or client cancellations made within 48 hours of course forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
DAY 1: Cancellation for any reason, including Failed Medicals, incurs an AUD$200 cancellation fee.
DAY 2 ONWARDS: No refund will be given, however, customers will be provided the option to switch to a different activity (i.e. snorkelling) to the value of the course costs already paid. No refunds will be issued for any remaining balances.
Day trip course schedules can NOT be altered.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.
