Frequently Asked Questions
Do the boats have shade?
Yes, the boats have covers to provide shade. But we still do recommend bringing sun protection and a raincoat for rainy days.
Does it matter what shoes we wear?
Please wear nonslip shoes that are comfortable and suitable for getting on and off a boat. No high heels please!
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately the boat is not accessible by wheelchair. Guests must be able to walk about 200 metres to and from the vessel and use the stairs onboard.
Can we bring infants and children onboard?
Yes, this Daintree river cruise is suitable for all ages. However, for safety reasons, prams/strollers are not allowed onboard. We recommend bringing a sling or capsule for infants.
Can we bring alcohol on the river cruise?
You cannot bring your own alcohol. But the vessels are licensed, so you can purchase drinks at the land bar and take them onboard your cruise with you.

Food is included on some of the departures throughout the day. The 12pm lunch cruise includes an Aussie lunch, and the 3:30pm late afternoon cruise includes nibbles. The morning cruises just include tea, coffee, and slushies.
