4 Day Cairns Liveaboard Tour | OceanQuest

Itinerary

Day 1 - Day of arrival: 

• Pick up from your Cairns City accommodation at 7:30 am
• Board transfer vessel SeaQuest and enjoy a 90 minute ride out to the Outer Reef
• From SeaQuest,enjoy snorkelling or scuba diving during the day
• After your first activity enjoy a buffet lunch back on board, with salads, meats, and fruit tea, and coffee
• Enjoy a last dive or snorkel off of SeaQuest before transferring onto OceanQuest to enjoy your nights at sea
• After some more afternoon activities before taking time to relax back on board
• Dinner is cooked by our onboard chefs and served in our dining room as night sets in, where afterwards, certified divers can do a night dive, including Sharks in the Dark and Flouro diving. 
• Indulge in the onboard bar after you're done diving for the day before turning in for a good nights sleep! 

Day 2 and 3 - Full days of stay: 

• Wake up with the sun and enjoy a early morning snorkel or scuba dive for a refreshing morning
• Back on board, you'll enjoy a filling breakfast, cooked by our talented chefs
• Dive or snorkel up to two more times before again enjoying a lunch prepared back on board
• Relax on board in the afternoon, or take the time to do one last day time dive or snorkel, followed by dinner
• Certified divers can enjoy another night dive after lights out, with intro divers and snorkellers keeping an eye out from deck on

Day 4 - Day of departure: 

• Go for an early morning dive or snorkel, followed by your last breakfast on board with our fun crew
• Enjoy a last scuba or dive adventure before packing up and getting ready to head back to land
• After lunch, you'll transfer back to SeaQuest for the 90 min trip back to Cairns. 
• Once back in Cairns, you'll be returned back to your Cairns City Accommodation 

You'll have the time of your life on board OceanQuest, snorkelling, diving and relaxing. Experience the reef for an amazing trip for as long or as little as you'd like and get to know all the beauty that the Great Barrier Reef has to offer.

Snorkelling: Whether you're an experienced snorkeller or it's your first time, OceanQuest offers the perfect platform from which to explore the Great Barrier Reef.  They'll show you the ropes and guide you around if you're learning, or send you on your way and keep a careful watch back on board if you're into the swing of things. All your equipment and tuition are included, as well as prescription masks upon request. Keep an eye out for the amazing animals and marine species all around you, including reef sharks, Clownfish, sea turtles, colourful parrotfish, giant clams and so much more. 

Introductory diving: Intro diving is the best way to enjoy a new and exciting experience in the ocean. Without having to take any course or studying, this easy dive is an immersive way to see the amazing sea life living just below the surface of the ocean. You'll be very clearly briefed on what your dive will entail to make sure not only that you have fun and feel safe, but that you have fun! Our experienced crew will clearly guide you through all the skills involved and make sure you're feeling comfortable before you hit the water. You can add up to five intro dives to each day of your trip. 

Certified diving: OceanQuest is the best place on the reef for certified divers to enjoy the freedom of exploring the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Each day includes up to 4 day dives and 1 night dive for a total of 5 dives per day, making this a divers paradise. With thousands of species to see, you'll want to take advantage of every minute under the water from early morning dives to after dark dives, taking the opportunity to do a Sharks in the Dark or amazing and unique Fluro dive.
