This exciting day tour begins when your friendly and experienced driver and guide picks you up from your accommodation in Cairns. Travel along one of Australia's most spectacular coastal drives to the resort village of Port Douglas, where you'll have time to visit some of the local highlights.
You will also to get to visit the Daintree River where morning tea is provided before embarking on a one hour Daintree river cruise. From here you can spot some of the wildlife including birds, snakes, frogs, flying foxes and crocodiles.
Alexandra Range Lookout and Daintree Entomological Museum
After the river cruise, travel up to the spectacular Alexander Range Lookout before arriving at a private lunch location at the Daintree Entomological Museum. Enjoy a 20 minute guided tour of the Museum, followed by lunch. Cool off and enjoy a refreshing swim at a secluded rainforest creek while lunch is cooking.
After lunch, travel further North to the isolated and picturesque Cape Tribulation, where the beautiful beach beckons for you to stroll along its golden sands. There's time to visit the lookout before departing for a relaxing and informative guided walk through the Cape Tribulation National Park.
After the walk, you will be offered afternoon tea before boarding our air-conditioned 4WD vehicle to transverse up to the Alexander Range where you will see the rare and primitive King Ferns growing in abundance. You then cross the river by cable barge and enjoy a leisurely drive back to Cairns with spectacular views of the Coral Sea, returning at approx. 6:45pm.

Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1.5% surcharge for VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX card purchases.
All client cancellations forfeit 25% of total ticket price and all client cancellations made less than 21 days prior to departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full price of the tour or package. If the tour operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to the departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance.
