Sample Itinerary

Day one
Port Douglas: Enjoy one of the most scenic coastal drives in Australia along the Captain Cook Highway.

The Wildlife Habitat: See the endangered Cassowary and rare Lumholtzs Tree Kangaroo along with other wildlife, with the opportunity to have your photo taken holding a koala, snake or crocodile, at a discounted price.

Picnic lunch at picturesque setting - included.

Daintree River cable ferry: Cross and enter Daintree National Park via the cable ferry!

Cape Tribulation Beach: Relax, or walk the boardwalk to the stunning lookout.

Arrive at your Cape Tribulation accommodation to check in at approx 4.30pm

Day two

Dubuji Boardwalk: Spot more wildlife on this guided rainforest walk, with great photo opportunities.

Daintree River Cruise: Spot Crocodiles, birds and other wildlife as your guide takes you through the mangroves. Afternoon tea included.

Alexandra Lookout: Stop for magnificent views of the Daintree River and the Coral Sea.

You also have the morning to enjoy great optional activities or to just relax and take in your beautiful surroundings at Cape Tribulation beach. Depart accommodation for the return journey at 4:00pm arriving in Cairns at approx. 7:00pm.

Optional activities for day two:

Cape Trib Horse Rides: The only horse riding available in the Cape Tribulation and Daintree area, they cater for beginners, intermediate and experienced riders on a group of very friendly and well-trained horses. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Cape Tribulation as you trail through the oldest living rainforest in the world. Ride through many crystal clear mountain streams, through cane paddocks and along crocodile inhabited riverbeds until you reach the spectacular Cape Tribulation Beach. Half Day tours are available.

Paddletrek Kayak Adventures: Enjoy an exciting morning or sunset adventure paddle with spectacular views and photo opportunities, gilding over stunning coral reefs, and gazing back at the lush rainforest and white sand beaches. Keep your eyes peeled for turtles, dugongs, sea eagles, dolphins and stingrays, commonly sighted in the area.

Cape Trib Jungle Surfing: Jungle Surfing is a unique rainforest experience where your feet don't touch the ground! Fly through the trees on zip lines, giving you an impressive bird's eye view into the jungle canopy and out onto the Great Barrier Reef. Resident scientists educate and entertain as they guide you safely from platform to platform. Jungle surfing is an adventure activity for all ages. Choose between slow, fast, or upside down flight choices, depending on what you prefer. All equipment is provided, including a full body harness and safety helmet. Bring nothing but your camera, and your sense of adventure! Please wear shorts or long pants, no skirts or dresses and comfortable enclosed footwear only.

Other optional activities that can be booked on arrival to Cape Tribulation include sea kayaking, mountain biking, bushwalking, hiking and crocodile cruises.

It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of booking. Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1.5% surcharge for VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX card purchases.

Open Date Vouchers / Gift Certificate:

Shipping Costs are in addition to the ticket price and will be added at check-out. Shipping costs are non-refundable and do not makeup part of the ticket value. 

E-Vouchers incur no shipping fees.

You have 5 years to use the value of the voucher. Seasonal Price Rises will apply if travelling out the current seasons pricing. Vouchers can be exchanged for free up to the full value of the voucher excluding credit card fees and charges.

Cancellations

All client cancellations forfeit 25% of total ticket price and all client cancellations made less than 21 days prior to departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full price of the tour or package. If the tour operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to the departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season. Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip.
